The programme is conducted in English with a strong focus on problem-based project work where you and your study group collaborate on real-world cases. This may include developing energy storage systems, optimising Power-to-X processes or designing offshore energy plants. You will combine theory and practice, and projects are often linked directly to industry ¨C teaching you to apply your knowledge in practice.

With a Master's in Sustainable Energy Engineering, you will have the skills to develop and optimise advanced energy systems from concept to implementation. You can work on cross-disciplinary projects and use simulation and analysis tools to create technical solutions for all types of energy systems, such as Power-to-X systems, underwater robots, offshore wind and industrial processes. You will understand both the technical details and the societal frameworks ¨C and you can bring green technology to reality and contribute to sustainable development.

With a Master¡¯s in Sustainable Energy Engineering, you will have a strong and sustainable profile that will make you sought-after in the energy and environmental sector. You can work in the development and operation of wind and solar plants or in consultancy and project management for energy companies, consultancies and utility companies. You also have the opportunity to work with research, innovation and strategy development in the green transition, for both private companies and public organisations.
