About the programme
You should choose to study Management Engineering if you want to work at the intersection of technology and management systems in supply and value chains. You will learn to analyse technological and organisational systems and design solutions that create value.
The programme is for those who are curious about sustainable production, digital transformation and efficient workflows, and for those who want to understand how companies work and can be developed 每 through things like the configuration and use of information systems, advanced technology and management theories. The programme teaches you how to overcome the complex challenges that exist at the intersection of technology and business 每 mainly in collaboration with industrial partners.

New Master*s options
We expect that as of 2028 you will be able to take this Master's degree programme as a 2-year programme (full-time study, 120 ECTS credits) and as a 3-year Master's for working professionals (first year full-time and then two years of part-time study in combination with relevant employment)
Programme structure
This master*s programme focuses on data analytics, the configuration and use of information systems, advanced technologies, and management theory to improve organisational effectiveness and efficiency within the service, healthcare, and manufacturing industries. The study programme is organised into two overlapping specialisations 每 to enter the programme, you must choose one of the following:
Semester overview
Internship or study abroad
During the third semester of the Master*s programme, you have different options. You can choose between:
- A company placement (project-based internship), where you help solve real problems for the organisation. During the placement, you will prepare a project based on one or more of the tasks you take part in. The company placement can take place in an organisation either in Denmark or abroad.
- A study placement, where you spend a semester at another Danish or international university.
- A regular semester, combining coursework and project work.
AAU has collaboration agreements with universities across the world, and the academic environment behind the programme also has a wide range of international contacts through company partnerships.
